Paris is the capital and most populated city of France situated in the north-central part. It occupies a central position in rich agricultural region known as Paris Basin, and it constitutes one of eight departments of the Ile-de-France administrative region. Paris includes attractive places like Eiffel Tower is the most famous sight in Paris, built by Gustave Eiffel in 1889 with 6,300 tonnes of iron. The Louvre museum with very famous, for old works of art, such as the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. The Louvre is the third biggest museum in the world, with 60,000 square meters of show room. It is the most visited art museum in the world with over 5 million people visits it each year.
